Today's loan industry is very different from the one that was in place even five years ago. There is little control, no major capital required, all these guys need is an agreement with a bank. They take you application, these strangers round up your personal banking information and relay all that to the national financial establishments - and sometimes they don't even go that far. Some lenders don't even offer a loan!

What lenders could do with your information

The anonymity off the Internet is incredibly bad for your position - you need a fast cash loan from the first possible lender you can find, but the first lender you find might be one of these shell providers.

They can take your information and relay it not to a quick loan provider but sell it off to credit card companies or other advertisers
They can steal your information and use it to take out other financial products ( i.e. identity theft)
They might actually get you t he loan you seek, but have so many hidden fees and consequences that you would have been better off going it alone from the beginning.

This might sound overly pessimistic, but with your life and loan on the line its best to look at all angels and possibilities. We are not saying you should avoid taking out a loan at all costs, but we are saying that people need to look a little closer at who they are borrowing from.
